Congratulations to the class of 2022!
We are immensely proud of all of you, especially given the challenges and disruption you have faced over the past couple of years. You have worked tirelessly and deserve all the success you have achieved.
Today we have seen some amazing results, in fact some of the best in the history of the school. In terms of A Level performance, we have achieved a pass rate of 99.2%, with 27.2% of grades awarded at A-A*.
The majority of our students have secured places at their first or reserve choice of university including Russell Group university destinations including Durham, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Sheffield, Manchester and York to study competitive courses such as Medicine, Biochemistry and Bioengineering.
Special congratulations go to Jack Douglas (three A* grades), Tilly Benefield (three A* grades) and Abby Spicer (two A* and one A grade).
Our vocational results were also outstanding with a 100% pass rate and 29.1 % of grades awarded at A-A*.
These fantastic A Level and BTEC results give our students and staff even more reason to celebrate, after recently being rated by Ofsted as a Good provider. We are all feeling very proud.
