We would like to invite you to our Mock Interview Day on Tuesday 19th July.
This will be held in school from 8:45am to 2:45pm, with a lunch break from 12:20-1:00pm. We will provide a buffet lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
This will be a great opportunity for you to help future talent, increase your brand awareness and to network with other businesses. As you know, interviewing can be an important part of any future transition, and we want our students to be able to communicate their skills and strengths as effectively as possible.
Each interview will last for 10 minutes, with another 5 minutes for feedback. We hope to interview 300 students over 5 sessions.
If you are unable to participate yourself, we would be grateful if you could ask others within your organisation.
Jesmond Park Academy is a member of the North East Careers Hub and we are seeking to improve our provision around Gatsby Benchmarks 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7. I have attached a description of the Benchmarks for your information.
The focus of the day is choices at age 16+ and 18+. Over 300 Year 10 will attend.
We hope your organisation will be able to take part and give the students an interview. If you are only able to stay for part of the day, we would still very much value your input. We are always keen to have contact with our former students, so if you do know of any that would like to attend, please ask them to get in touch.
