We are really pleased with the results and achievements of our Sixth Form students in their A Level and BTEC exams. The students have shown exceptional dedication and determination, and we are genuinely proud of their accomplishments. It's a time to celebrate their hard work and offer support as they progress in their academic and professional careers.
This morning, we have witnessed some incredible results. Our overall pass rate is 98%, with 26% of all grades achieved at A*- A and 72% at A*-C. Notably, 15 students achieved straight A*/A grades. Our vocational results are equally impressive, with a 98% pass rate. There were some outstanding individual performances, including Lenny Critchley Elaf Alasi and Edward Rubenstein who all achieved A*A*A grades and Josue Curiaquita, who got an incredible 5 A levels, with grades of A*AABB. Our students are now excited about the next stage of their education and are off to universities including Edinburgh, Newcastle, Durham, Leeds, and Imperial College London. In line with recent years, we have numbers going to Russell Group Universities which are well above the national average, to study courses including Medicine, Veterinary Science, Law, Biomedicine and Computing with AI.
Today is a day for celebration, and we are delighted to share this day with our amazing students. However, we are also committed to providing guidance and support to those who may need it. Regardless of their grades, it is important to us that each student has access to diverse opportunities, and we are dedicated to ensuring that all individuals receive the necessary guidance for their future journey.
These impressive A Level and BTEC results are a source of pride for our entire school community. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all our students and wish them nothing but success and happiness for the future.
