ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (PART-TIME)

Salary: N4 £8,490 – £8,778pa actual based on hours

(Full time equivalent salary: £24,294 - £25,119)

Hours: Part-time, working Thursday and Friday. 14 ½ hours per week. Term time only with 5 on-call days

Flexible working options may be considered.

Contract: Permanent

Start date: September 2024

Location: Jesmond Park Academy

You will be employed by the Gosforth Group and may need to work across all locations within the Multi Academy Trust as required.

About the role

We are seeking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to work in and ensure the smooth running of the school’s main reception. These will include (but not limited to)

 

  • greeting visitors and answering telephones calls - responding appropriately to their needs
  • maintaining security for the building by providing passes to visitors
  • notifying appropriate people that a visitor has arrived to see them
  • keeping track of the people arriving for appointments and when they leave the building
  • arranging hospitality for meetings/events
  • filing and assisting with school correspondence via post (mail merge) and email

 

The successful candidate should possess good IT and typing skills.
