Jesmond Park Academy students were lucky enough to participate in an exciting learning programme provided by The Laing Art Gallery on the Lindisfarne Gospels, currently on loan from the British Library for an exhibition at the Newcastle art gallery.
The creative workshop involved around 70 JPA students and was delivered by a member of The Laing learning team who visited the school for the day to support pupils exploring the Lindisfarne Gospels manuscript; covering Anglo Saxons, Art & Heritage and Local History.
