Following on from an assembly and induction, a group of Year 12 students have started to volunteer with Vinnie's in Byker. Vinnie's is a centre for people in the community requiring help and support be it if they are homeless, refugees or in need of company. The centre runs a pay if you can cafe, a hostel, EAL support, a food and clothing bank and a range of activities to create social inclusion. We are very proud that our students have been helping out in their community in this way.
