After winning the Newcastle School's League our U14s boys basketball team were invited to represent Newcastle in the Tyne & Wear School Games finals this month playing against the best teams from Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside, and South Tyneside. The team overcame the group stages, seeing off competition from four other schools. In the semi-finals they beat Emanuel College leaving them to face St. Cuthbert's in the final. The final proved to be a fast-paced game ending with a 15-7 victory for Jesmond Park Academy.
