There has been more success for our basketball teams recently. The U16 team beat Durham Johnson here at JPA, while the U14's travelled to York; where they had a resounding 97-64 win over Queen Ethelburga's Collegiate, both games were in the English School competition.
The U15 girls football team sadly exited the City Cup this week, losing to a very strong Walbottle side. The Year 7 girls had two games in the City League where they had a win and draw against Gosforth (4-0) and Newcastle High (2-2).
The Year 8 football team played their first league game of the season against Walker, where the wait proved to be worth it. They put in a dominant performance, winning 7-0.
The senior netball girls continued their excellent start to the year, beating Westfield 24-2.
Finally, our U13 table tennis team were at the Tyneside Badminton Centre competing in the Newcastle School Games competition. They did themselves proud, picking up silver medals for their efforts.
