We hope that you and your family are continuing to keep well as we approach the start of the actual summer holiday. We have already contacted you regarding supporting you with your plans for September.
Remember we will continue to support you with your progression to either Jesmond Park Academy Sixth Form or to college or apprenticeship depending upon where you are choosing to go. There will be further details of this given to you on results day.
Even though things have been very different for you this year regarding your GCSE and BTEC examinations you are still able to come in and collect your results from school on results day. For obvious reasons we will need to maintain social distancing during the distribution of your results. To facilitate this we have given you a time slot to come into school to collect them. You must come in to school at this time and not another time slot during the morning.
You should arrive at main reception at the time listed. There will be members of staff at reception to meet you and organise safe access in and out of the building. Please be punctual, as if you arrive late we may not be able to allow you in to the building to collect your results. If your parents/carers have brought you in to school, they will need to remain in the school car park. Your results envelope will contain clear information based upon government guidelines about the awarding of your grades and other next steps for you should you need them. It will also contain details of Jesmond Park Academy Sixth Form enrolment and other information about support for progression onto courses or apprenticeships in September.
If you are unable to come in to school to collect your results, we will post them out to you.
