Dear Parent/Carer,

Tuesday 26 May 2026 – Friday 29 May 2026

We are opening our main school library from 10am to 2pm for independent revision for the May Half-Term break (except the Bank Holiday on Monday 25 May).
This is primarily for students where our school library will provide a quieter and more purposeful working environment (including access to computers) than at home but obviously all students are welcome. You would be expected to arrive at Main Reception no later than 9:55am. At 2pm you will be dismissed. A member of JPA staff will be in school to greet you, supervise you and then dismiss you at 2pm. 

Obviously, as you are a Sixth Form student there will be an element of being able to come and go' but primarily you should aim to come in and work for the full 4-hour 
block. It would be best to bring refreshments in with you.

If you would like to come to school to use the library for revision, please submit your request by selecting the relevant session via the online form below, by 3pm on 
Thursday 21 May 2026.

MAY HALF TERM REVISION SESSIONS: 26 MAY - 29 MAY 2026

Alternatively, please email your choice to Mrs Chirnside at CChirnside@jesmondparkacademy.org.uk. Please state:

• Your full name
• Year & registration group
• Which day(s) you intend to come in.

You can, of course, come in for any number of days (all of them or selected days). If you have advised that you will be attending, a member of JPA staff will ring home if 
you do not turn up.

IMPORTANT – You can still come and use the library even if you have not let us know in advance. So, if, on the day, you decide that you would wish to use the library (and you have not emailed in advance) you can still come in on any of the days and times stated above but obviously no one in school will contact home if you do not turn up.
