Our Jesmond Park Academy students recently took part in a memorable and inspiring day at NUCASTLE, the community hub of Newcastle United Foundation, where they engaged in activities focused on opportunity, aspiration and future pathways.

The visit supports our ethos of Creating Futures, helping students to connect their education with real‑world possibilities. Throughout the day, students engaged with first‑class facilities, explored options beyond the classroom, and saw firsthand how positive community partnerships can open doors and unlock potential.

The importance of this work was highlighted during the visit, with the Prime Minister publicly praising the Newcastle United Foundation for its positive impact on young people and communities. This national recognition reflects the value of the experiences our students were able to take part in.

It is great to see our students and young people from the region to be involved in initiatives that build confidence, raise aspirations and connect learning to real‑world opportunities. We would like to thank Newcastle United Foundation for hosting such a meaningful and inspiring experience.
