A couple of weeks ago, we hosted our traditional ‘face to face’ Parents/Carer Information Evenings over two nights for parents/carers of students in Years 8 to 11. 

It was an opportunity for parents/carers to come into school, meet key staff such as the Head of Year and Year Manager and find out more information about Jesmond Park Academy students' academic studies this year and how parents and carers can support them with this.

On the night, a welcome presentation was delivered which consisted of an overview of learning in each year group and other key events throughout the year. This was followed by the opportunity to attend two out of three 15-minute curriculum workshops in English, maths and science that provided parents/carers with some useful information and advice about supporting students' studies.  

For parents/carers who were unable to attend, the information below includes links to the presentations shown during the evenings for years 8 to 11. This includes both the welcome presentation and curriculum workshops, which may not have been seen by some attendees.
