Celebrating results day as our Sixth Formers take their next steps...

This is a proud day for Jesmond Park Academy as our Sixth Form students receive their A Level and vocational qualification results and prepare for the exciting opportunities that lie ahead of them.

We are delighted to see our students reach this important milestone. Their time in our Sixth Form has been characterised by commitment, perseverance and hard work, today's achievements reflect the dedication they have shown throughout their time at Jesmond Park Academy, for some that has been a seven year journey whilst others have joined us along the way.

We are very proud of all of our students but particularly those that have found the traditional education route challenging at times, we are pleased to have been able to support these students through some tough times. Their resilience and determination now means that they are able to move onto their next stage in life with positive outcomes and great memories of their time at Jesmond park Academy.

Every year, students from Jesmond Park Academy successfully progress onto the courses and progression routes of their choice through their own hard work and the support that the school provides them to achieve this.  As part of Gosforth Group, we are committed to Creating Futures, and today we see them progress onto a wide range of destinations, including university, apprenticeships, employment and further training, equipped with the skills, confidence and determination to succeed in whatever they do next.

    Student achievements and destinations

Three students, Levin. Mohammed and Zach, have both secured places at Cambridge University to study Medicine, Engineering and Natural Sciences, and James, Fleur, Talia, and Nadeen are all going on to study Medicine across the country.

Shavan, Ishmal, Ishmael and Max have all secured high level apprenticeships within the local area. Muna has achieved the grades required to join the Royal Airforce where he will work in cyber security – keeping us all safe at night.

These individual successes represent just some of the many achievements being celebrated across the year group today.

Other notable successes at the highest A Level grades are:

    • Luca A*, A*,  A*, A*

What makes us particularly proud is the way our students have embraced all aspects of Sixth Form life. Alongside their studies, many have taken on leadership roles, supported younger students, participated in enrichment activities and contributed positively to the wider school community, for example DofE, supporting transition days, sports day, parents’ evenings, school production, sports teams etc. As we often say, our busiest students are our most successful and this cohort is no different. This commitment to our school community has shaped them into confident, capable and ambitious young adults who we are proud of.

We would like to thank our families, carers, teachers and associate staff for the encouragement, guidance and commitment they have shown throughout the students' time at Jesmond Park Academy.

Congratulations to all our students on their results. We wish them every success and happiness in the future and look forward to following the next stages of their journeys.
