Our students are involved in a wide range of activities and societies.
We know Sixth Formers want to run their own lives and students are encouraged to start up their own activities and receive support from members of the Sixth Form team to do so.
These range from bands and sports societies to cultural and study groups. Additionally we also support the following activities:-
- University Open Days
- Sixth Form Magazine
- Duke of Edinburgh Award
- World Challenge
- Lower School Lessons Programme
- Open and Parents' Evening support
- Charity Fundraising
- Sporting Activities
- Year 13 Leavers' Group
- Summer Ball
- Work experience opportunities
- EAL support
- Voluntary work
World Challenge provides educational expeditions in the developing world which teach life skills and expand minds outside the classroom.
The three to six-week student travel itineraries foster team spirit and leadership skills. Taking part in World Challenge has become an established fixture of Sixth Form life.
Recent expeditions have included Morocco, Thailand, Malaysia, Equador and most recently Swaziland.
